The Genesis Silver A is a 2-burner gas grill that can be classified as a quick and dependable equipment but it’s on the smaller side when it comes to size. You can cook enough food for a weekday family dinner on its primary cooking area that measures 350 square inches. The total cooking area is 528 square inches inclusive of the 108 square inches warming rack area and 70 square inches of warm-up basket area. The whole equipment measures 59.5â€h x 51.5â€w x 28â€d with its lid open.
Its hood is porcelain-enameled with a thermometer that is center-mounted and black-painted, cast-aluminum end caps. It has one thermoset removable work surface and swing-up work surface. The Weber Genesis Silver A comes with an enclosed cart with stainless steel doors and all-weather wheels that are crack proof and have locking casters.
The unit’s cooking system is composed of 2 stainless steel burners of 26,000 BTU-per-hour inputs. The burners have insect screens to keep them pest-free. The cooking grates on the Silver A and Flavorizer Bars are both porcelain-enameled. It uses the Crossover Ignition System for easy use.
The Genesis Silver A comes in liquid propane (LP) and natural gas (NG) models. LP models are only available in black. A precision fuel gauge for tanks is provided in all LP models while a 10-foot flexible hose is included in the NG model pack.
This product will definitely last a long time. Its solid construction gives it stability in spite of its relative smallness in size. The limited lifetime warranty coupled with sensible maintenance will provide years and years of great barbecue. This kind of gas grill is considered the smallest and lowest priced of the Weber family of fine grills. Weber Genesis Silver A is the ideal choice if you want a good grill but have limited space for it.
Most of the finer features of a Weber grill can be found in this small equipment. Besides the use of good quality stainless steel on parts that need to be rust-free, the top-notch flavor bar vaporizes the grease and reduces flare-ups. Its overall look is quite attractive and falls within the price range of $399 - $1,000.
